The Grace style is named for Grace Hopper who was a computer science pioneer and United States Navy rear admiral who earned a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in mathematics from Yale in the 1930s. One of the first three modern “programmers,” Hopper is best known for her trailblazing contributions to the development of computer languages. She was known as irreverent, sharp-tongued, and brilliant, and enjoyed long and influential careers in both the U.S. Navy and the private sector.
All pieces are created from start to finish in my home studio, nestled in one of Richland's historic "Alphabet Houses". The JH designs atomic logo is a nod to the history and science of the area.
