Spinel is found in igneous rocks around the world, often in deposits where rubies and sapphires are also found. It is a coveted gem, which in its red variant is difficult to distinguish from ruby. Astrologically, the spinel on the star sign Scorpio and Sagittarius is particularly beneficial. Black spinel is also believed to work well on the crown chakra.
All pieces are created from start to finish in my home studio, nestled in one of Richland's historic "Alphabet Houses". The JH designs atomic logo is a nod to the history and science of the area.
